Hello My Lavender Loving Friends,
Hope you've all been well since my last newsletter. I’m reaching out today to give you a couple of updates.
First, Purple Watch of 2017 has begun!! I’m excited to report that most of the lavenders are sending up stems and our Folgate is starting to form buds.
So, when should we expect to see purple in the field? Well, it's up to Mother Nature. Hopefully, she’ll make up her mind about this crazy weather and the inconsistent temps. However, typically our English varieties usually bloom middle to late June and some will give us a second bloom in late summer. Our French varieties usually bloom middle to late July. Since we have several varieties of each, you can expect to find lavender blooming all summer long.
We will let you know when “Cut Your Own” lavender will be available. But why wait until then to come visit? The farm is looking beautiful now with all the gardens starting to bloom and our gift shop is full of all your favorite lavender goodies, aromatherapy jewelry, home décor and so much more.
Oh, we’ve received lots of calls/emails asking about our hours this Memorial Day Weekend. I’m happy to let you know that we’ve decided to open on Monday (Memorial Day).
Our hours this weekend will be Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (Memorial Day) from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Have you check out our website yet? Our online store is now live making it easy for you to still get your favorite lavender products if you can’t make it to the farm.
As a reminder, if you can’t make it during regular hours please call us to make an appointment to come visit. And please remember to like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram.
We’re looking forward to seeing you and sharing our “farm sweet farm” with you.
Wishing you Peace and Love,
Jim & Monica
