Purple Watch Update - 8/3/2023

Hello Lavender Loving Friends,

Hope you're all enjoying your summer so far. I can't believe it's August already!!

Here's a quick update on Purple Watch 2023:

While most of the lavenders are past peak, they're still giving us some lovely color and amazing scent. How much longer will they last?? Sadly, not much longer. I recommend you try to get here this weekend.

In our Welcome 2023 Season Newsletter, we addressed the need for charging an admission fee. As a reminder, Admission is only $5 per person (cash only) children under 10 are free.

As most of you know, our staff consists of myself, Jim (who works full-time outside the farm), and our dear and loyal friend Wendy who works in our shop on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays). As such, we do not have the ability to designate anyone to collect the Admission Fee at the entrance of our property. Instead, we have signs placed in strategic locations on the property. Therefore, we rely on the honor system because we believe that most people will do the right thing. Sadly, that is not always the case. If you are solely coming onto the property to make a purchase in our shop, the Admission Fee is waived. However, if you plan on staying a while to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, whether you enter the lavender field or not, we ask that you please come into the shop to pay your Admission Fee. We truly appreciate your support so that we may continue to provide you with a beautiful oasis to visit.
